The 2012 and 2013 Simi Cabernet Sauvignon follows up the 2011 vintage with its deep, ruby color and delicious aromas of blackberry, cherry, cassis and plum. Baking spices, along with hints of cedar and chocolate round out this red wines aromas. The flavors of the Alexander Valley SIMI Cabernet Sauvignon are as compelling with the cassis, cherry, and plum aromas carrying over to the delight of your mouth. In addition, you may encounter black pepper, cedar and clove, which all add life to this full-bodied yet smooth wine that finishes soft, with velvety cocoa tannins. Simi Silver Lining!
Aroma & Flavor
Grape Certified Silver
Behold, one of Simi’s finest red wines is here! Beckoning wine enthusiasts with its mixture of dark fruits, black pepper, currant and cedar aromas. This beautiful Sonoma wine offers enthralling flavors of ripe plum, black cherry, with notes of cassis, and cinnamon, before finishing on a chocolaty note. For those who enjoy velvety tannins and wines with a ‘some-what,’ Burgundian flair, the Simi Cab is a terrific choice.
