Wine Review: Perhaps it’s this down-to-earth approach that’s earned Dave Ready Jr. the awards and wine ratings he’s received over the years. Now he’s introduced us to the 2010 Dealer’s Choice Cabernet sauvignon and it’s better than good! A quintessential Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with soft rich tannins that bond elements of blackberry, black cherry, bay leaves, thyme, vanilla, sweet oak, and offer a little smokiness. The swirling mixture of complex flavors, reveal a nice long finish.
Wine Region: Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, CA
Wine Grapes: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot
Style: Full-bodied, Complex & Smooth
Drinks Like: Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 ($38), Faust Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2010 ($55)

A toast, to dense herbaceous notes and dark fruity flavors, infused with sweet oak and vanilla – this wine wasn’t nicknamed, a ‘Goode bet’ without good merit. From weekend get-togethers, to dinner for two, but don’t take our word for it, buy a bottle or six and share with a special someone, family, or friends.
