Apple Smoked Cheese Stuffed Bacon Burger

Ingredients:

a. 1 pound fresh ground beef

b. 3 tbsp brown sugar

c. 1 1/2 tsp paprika

d. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

e. 1/2 tsp ground cumin

f. 1/4 tsp chipotle powder

g. 1/4 tsp salt

h. 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

i. 1/2 cup Cabot White Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded

j. 1 package of Trader Joeês Apple Smoked Bacon, cooked and crumbled

k. 4 Brioche rolls

l. Unsalted butter

m. Leafed Lettuce

n. Sliced tomatoes

 

Cooking Directions:

a. Preheat grill to medium. Mix brown sugar, chipotle powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika,

salt and pepper. Set aside.

b. Form 8 equal hamburger patties. Err on the side of thinner patties.

c. Toss the cheese and bacon before placing equal amounts on 4 of the patties.

d. Place the 4 remaining patties atop the cheese and bacon and pinch the edges to seal then sprinkle each burger with the spice mix.

e. Grill patties for approximately 5 minutes (per side) for medium.

f. Lightly butter each Brioche bun half and grill until golden brown.

g. Garnish each hamburger with lettuce, tomato and any other sides and enjoy!
