Wine of the Month: Balletto Estate Pinot Noir 2012

4.3 out of 5
Rating: 4.3

THEGRAPE Wine of the Month (Feb/Mar 2015) & Grape Certified Gold Wine Rating

“There’s a luxurious quality to this wine, shockingly fair priced, amid enviable structure and balance.” – Wine Enthusiast (90 Points)

The ruby-colored 2012 Balleto Estate Pinot Noir has an intense aromatic profile that begins with equal parts bright fruit (dark cherry, tart rhubarb, floral violets) and savory elements of cola, cardamom and coffee. Then, there’s a touch of dark toast and forest-floor earthliness that round out the aromas and give it extra depth. The smells are complex and ever-changing in the glass over time.
